Welcome to Kamp Kappa
Kamp Kappa is the flagship program of AF KSEF’s Guide Right Program! Established in 1993 by the Alexandria-Fairfax (Virginia) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Kamp Kappa offers a transformative six-day overnight summer camp experience.
Our program is dedicated to providing a positive blend of outdoor adventure and educational enrichment. Through a variety of activities, we focus on nurturing teamwork, self-respect, and respect for others. Join us for an unforgettable journey of growth and camaraderie at Kamp Kappa!

Kamp Kappa is not only about having fun, but also serves as an opportunity for our participants to grow into confident, resilient young men. Our programs and activities are centered around building courage, fostering teamwork, and instilling self-respect in our young men. Through exciting activities tailored to their age group, we help them overcome challenges, work together with others, and develop a strong sense of self-worth.
Courage
Engaging in courage-building activities empowers young boys to face challenges with resilience and confidence, fostering personal growth and development.
Team Building
Team-building activities equips young boys with essential collaboration and communication skills, preparing them for success in both personal and professional spheres of life.

Who is this program designed for?
Our program is designed for males between the ages of 10 and 16 years of age from the metropolitan Washington, DC, area, to include the District of Columbia and the neighboring counties of Virginia and Maryland.
The purpose of our program.
As a fraternity-wide community service outreach initiative, this program is designed to foster cooperation, team building, and self-respect. In addition we aim to provide a positive outdoor educational and recreational experience through certified professional counselors and fraternity/community volunteers.
Camp Activities
Activities include swimming, archery, team sports, games, hiking, canoeing, fishing, amusement parks, educational seminars, group discussions (hygiene, finances, crime prevention, drug awareness), confidence and leadership building activities, site visits intended to increase social and civic awareness. The camp also includes “Street Law” educational program led by U.S. District Court Judge Gerald B. Lee.
